• An introduction of you & your blog

Nayab Loves is basically a beauty blog with quite a few lifestyle posts and a bit of fashion aswell. Since the name is Nayab ‘loves’ i write about what ever tickles my fancy be it makeup, clothes, shopping, food etc. As for me, im almost 21 and from the breathtaking city of islamabad, currently in the process of completeing my bachelors in development studies.. Not an easy task haha. I have wavy hair that hate humidity and a big an of Harry Potter and Twilight! ( yes, both at thr same time) haha.

• How did you start out in the world of beauty?

I was following blogs for quite a while and one day after my birthday i decided to put all the time i spend on the internet to good use and started my little blog. Its been wonderful ever since. Who would mind talking about makeup? Not me! Haha

• How would you describe your signature look?

Hmm my signature look is always a faff-free neutral eye. Im like a yo yo when it comes to lip colors, sometimes im all for nudes, but then there are times when i love to wear bolder colors, although the coral trend is something im on the fence about, never could embrace that haha.

• What five fantastic products do you use now, and why do you love them.

1. Rimmel Match Perfecting concealor. Love this, conceals my horrendus under eye pools of darkness to quite an extent and brightens up the area, doesnt crease and is excellent value for money.
2. Luscious Loves Fashion Polish in Nickie Nina. Im a big fan of polishes tht are dark. Almost black looking but quite arent, this is exactly that.. A dark ameythyst shade, which is streaky at first and some effort has to be put in, but it is soo worth it! Love love this, i already have a backup bottle, and ive never ever ever bought a back up bottle of nail varnish haha. Thats how much i love it.
3. Rimmel Stay Matte powder- its a blogger favourite and for good reasons, keeps you matte without looking cakey and is budget friendly aswell. I use the shade transparent.
4. Revlon Lip Butter in Lollipop. Not a color I wouldve ever chosen for myslef, but am i hooked! I wear the buttery concotion of fabulousness everyday! It is as amazing as the bloggers make you beleive it is haha. The only concern i have is that im going to finish it up fast given the rate at which is i use this! Haha , thank you Sarah for this!
5. Victorias Secret Fragrance Mist in Love Spell. This scent is the epitome of sweet! Love applying this the entire day and the notes of black cherries is what makes this stand out from other sickly sweet summers scents.

• What’s in the future for www.nayabloves.blogspot.com

For the future, I really want to incorpoate more lifestyle posts in my blog like what i did today etc, im a huge fan of personal posts so would like to take my blog in that direction. Maybe during the summers if im travelling to Lahore, a few collaborative posts with other bloggers from there and islamabad aswell.

• Introduction please batul ?

Hello PBBC readers. My name is Batul Fazal and I am a student of Mass communication and I consider myself a shopaholic. Originally from Lahore, I spend my time between UAE-Oman. Like a true Lahori, I’m a total foodie. All that sparkles by B my baby and you’ll find totally girly products on my blog.

• How did you start out in the world of beauty?

It all started when I turned 13. After that awkward puberty phase I was introduced to kajal/kohl and lip balm and that’s where my obsession took off. I started watching youtube videos and eventually was introduced to beauty blogs.

1. How would you describe your signature look?

My winged liner has been my trusty mate since 2007 when retro was not trendy. People would often criticize and question why my liner was so long and out? With time people have accepted it. Also, I am a huge fan of bright lipsticks. Instead of focusing on my eyes with eyeshades I always opt for a bright lippy; red being my favourite. I think it catches everyone’s eye and suits my lips.

• What five fantastic products do you use now, and why do you love them.

1. Benefit Dallas Box-O-Powder : This baby has been my favourite blush from the past 1.5 years. It gives you the loveliest flush and it doubles as a bronzer. 10 points to Benefit!
2. MAC Satin Taupe eyeshade: If I were to wear one eyeshade all my life this baby would be my pick!
3. TheBalm Mary-Lou Manizer: Best highlighter out there. Also could be used as an eyeshade or body shimmer. A wondrous multi-tasking beauty that won’t disappoint you. The packaging is to die for. I use this on the inner corner of my eyes and on the eyelid with Satin Taupe on the crease and outer-V. Gives the perfect eyelook
4. Dolce & Gabbana Animalier bronzer: The packaging takes away the cake. No doubt this is the most beautifully packaged bronzer out there. The product itself isn’t bad. Has a bit shimmer that does not really show up on skin. Long lasting.
5. Tony Moly Cat Wu Lipstick in Coral: I was surprised by this product. The amount I paid is next to nothing compared to what I got. The prettiest colour with such a glossy finish topped with an amazing smell. Oh and have I mentioned the packaging? A must buy for all beauty lovers. Korean brands do know their branding.

Extra product MAC Russian Red: This red was made for me. Period. Makes me feel like a pin-up girl *embarrassed*

What’s in the future for www.allthatsparklesbyb.com ???

I’ve planned to add fashion and food to the blog but it’s the long term plan. I need to be very dedicated and it requires a lot of time. Currently, I am busy with studies but hoping to find time to make my blog a lifestyle blog . And if things go well I want to design a small line of blouses/tops.

Secret Eid Swap By Pakistan Beauty Blogger Swap – Rules & Sign Up Dates

Sign up for “Secret Eid Swap” by Pakistani Beauty Blogger Community will once again begin from May 25th, 2013 till June 15th, 2013. This is almost more than two week window to sign up (might be extended depending on how many people sign up.) Before signing up, please make sure that you are ready to take part in this swap.  We will then start pairing up and share the info with your Secret Swapper. Your Secret swapper will be assigned to you  after 15th June ,  2013.

• Gifts must be sent out between 20th June, 2013 to 15th July, 2013. This gives members approximately more than two to three week window to shop or place an order.
• A tracking # is mandatory when mailing out your items.
• The total gift value should be approximately Rs. 1500 (can be changed).
• Item(s) must be NEW and never used, swatched or opened.
• Lastly, once you sign up please do not back out as it will cause problems with the assignment list.

Pakistani Beauty Blogger Swap – FAQ

A wonderful blogger Atia , gave me an idea that we should do something like secret santa among all Pakistani beauty bloggers. The idea was brilliant and Sana and Me discussed it initially , then we took feedback from some of our lovely bloggers and finally we decided upon that Yes ! its time that Pakistani beauty bloggers start a swap.

 

So some of girls wanted more information on the whole swapping concept as they are new to the idea . I came up with the this FAQ

 

What is a Pakistani beauty/Makeup swap?

 After the sign ups , We will randomly assign a blogger to whom you will anonymously send the gifts. Once all bloggers receive their gifts , we will revealing their identity. 

 

I am not a blogger , can i be a part of it?

so far this is only for bloggers We will update you all when we ll be having with non bloggers friends too

 

What is the Budget ?

Its the first time we are planning this, so agreed upon the budget of Pkr 1500. 

 

Does shipping include in the budget ?

I am sorry but shipping doesn’t include in the budget

 

Can we tell what products we would love to have?

Right now , its not possible , we will ask you to mention one wishlist item , which is easily available to get in pakistan , if other swappe can manage to get that , its great but to be honest its totally upto them.

 

Will i get a blogger for the same city i am ?

Since we will pair bloggers randomly. So we cant promise that

 

I am short on money , can i back off?

We are giving a month to prepare , but Of course we cant force anything  , but last minute backing off will create such a hassle and in future we may only include selected members.

We will update this post as soon as we get more questions/queries , please feel free to ask if there is anything thats confusing you. We want to make this event a fun and social one , so in future we can hold more activities like this

Well what can i say ? Life is unpredictable . It took so many  turns in last few months that i was fully exhausted. To be honest 2011 didnt end well for me and my family . We had to leave city i grew up in and move to my parents village where we dont have access to modern world. he concept for Pakistani beauty blog concept  is to release a Link Love post every week ( or two) .

Once you  email me with your details i will add you to the mailing list, and will receive an email asking for links . You will have a dead line to submit , and the finalized post will be delivered in your inboxes after the deadline.

Calling All Pakistani Beauty Bloggers

As a Pakistani beauty blogger, it was really  frustrating for me to see , Pakistani beauty blogger not familiar with each other.When i started Glossicious in 2009 , i was i guess only one around but now i see many little baby beauty blogs emerging , so i want to create a plate form where we can share weekly , monthly posts  links . Many things yet  have to be decided.
I have only few rules like blog must be in English,if you are a new blogger , please make sure you plan to keep blog active.

Once you enroll you blog ,i will add your email / blog  to the mailing list, and then later you will receive an email asking for links exchange.Just copy and paste the Link  exchange into your text editor and post it on you blogs.

Make sure to follow your fellow Pakistani beauty blogs + subscribe to you tube channels. Its not compulsory but it will be a nice gesture of support.
